The Association for Human-Computer Interaction (AIPO) has announced the winners of its 11th Competition for Final Degree Projects (TFG) and Final Master Projects (TFM) in the field of IPO. After a thorough evaluation, the jury has decided to award the following prizes:
1. Best Undergraduate Thesis Award:
Title: “Readability Analysis of Web Pages with Eye-Tracking Devices,” presented by Alvaro Lázaro Muñoz, a student of the Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Engineering at Carlos III University of Madrid, Spain, supervised by Ana María Iglesias Maqueda.
2. Best Master’s Thesis Award:
Title: “Intergenerational Study on the Influence of Social Robot Design on Gender Attribution and Technological Acceptance,” presented by Loreto Matinero Angusto, a student of the Master’s Degree in Interaction Design and User Experience at the Open University of Catalonia, Spain, supervised by Sandra Silvia Baldassarri and Eva Cerezo Bagdasari.
3. Honorable Mention for Undergraduate Thesis:
Title: “AccessiVue: A Repository of Accessible Vue Components for Teaching in Human-Computer Interaction” presented by Gemma Vallès Fusta, a student of the Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Engineering at the Faculty of Mathematics and Computer Science, University of Barcelona, Spain, supervised by Mireia Ribera Turró.
4. Runner-up for the Master’s Thesis:
Title: “Design and Evaluation of User Interfaces in Immersive Virtual Reality for Cultural Heritage” presented by Eugenio Giuseppe Nerelli, a student of the Master’s Degree in Artificial Intelligence at the University of Udine, Italy, supervised by Fabio Buttussi.
Awards Ceremony
The awards ceremony will take place during the closing ceremony of the Interacción 2026 Congress in Albacete, at the University of Castilla-La Mancha, Spain.
