To the AIPO Board of Directors, we welcome Jesús Gallardo Casero, an AIPO member who has long been involved with the association and the promotion of Human-Computer Interaction (HCI). He was also the organizer of Interaction 2022. We at AIPO welcome him and wish him the best in his work within the Association and on behalf of HCI!

Jesús Gallardo Casero holds a PhD in Computer Science from the University of Castilla-La Mancha. He completed his undergraduate studies at the Ciudad Real School of Computer Science. Between 2006 and 2011, he was a professor at the University of Castilla-La Mancha and a member of the CHICO research group. Since 2011, he has been a professor at the University of Zaragoza, specifically at the Polytechnic University School of Teruel, where he currently works as a Full Professor, and is a member of the AffectiveLab research group and the Aragon Engineering Research Institute (I3A). His research career has focused on human-computer interaction and collaborative systems. He has contributed numerous articles to prestigious journals and conferences, and since 2012, he has been continuously participating in publicly funded national research projects. In terms of management duties, he served as deputy director of the Teruel Polytechnic University School from 2018 to 2022, and has served as director of the university since 2022.
