The Human-Computer Interaction Association (AIPO) has announced the winners of its 10th Final Degree Project (TFG) and Master’s Thesis (TFM) Competition within the field of IPO. After a thorough evaluation, the jury has decided to award the following prizes:
1. Award for the Best Final Degree Project for the following work:
Title: “PlanTEA-WM: Migration and Improvement of a Planning Application for People with ASD” presented by José Lara Navarro, a student of the Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Engineering at the School of Computer Science of the University of Castilla-La Mancha, Spain, directed by Ana Isabel Molina Díaz and María del Carmen Lacave Rodero.
2. Award for the Best Master’s Thesis for the following project:
Title: “Analysis and Modeling of Student Behavior in Online Courses from a Multimodal Learning Analytics Approach” presented by Álvaro Becerra Jiménez, a student of the Master’s Degree in Data Science at the Autonomous University of Madrid, Spain, supervised by Ruth Cobos Pérez.
3. Second Prize for the Master’s Thesis for the following project:
Title: “Virtual Simulation and Evaluation of Social Robots Using Wizard of Oz Techniques” presented by Guillermo Cubero Charco, a student of the Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Engineering at the School of Computer Science of the University of Castilla-La Mancha, Spain, supervised by Ramón Hervás Lucas and Laura Villa Fernández-Arroyo.
4. Runner-up prize for the Master’s Thesis for the following project:
Title: “Usability Evaluation Heuristics for E-Commerce Platforms”
presented by Alejandra Yicel Vargas Muñoz, a student in the Master’s Program in Computer Science at the University of Cauca, Colombia, supervised by César Collazos and Antoni Granollers.
