Future Perspectives on Human-Computer Interaction Research: Towards the Year 2030 is an edited collection of the best contributions presented at the XXIII International Conference on Human-Computer Interaction (Interaction 2023), held at the University of Lleida in early September 2023. The editors of the book are three GRIHO members from the University of Lleida.

Future Perspectives on Human-Computer Interaction Research: Towards the Year 2030 aims to make a significant contribution to IPO (Human-Computer Interaction). To this end, the editors decided to focus its content on the analysis of past, present and future areas of IPO research. To add value to the knowledge area and to differentiate itself from a conventional book of proceedings, the editors asked the authors of the best contributions to write chapters with this purpose in mind. Following a thorough peer review involving the editors and the authors themselves, the book is organized into ten chapters, covering diverse, current and key areas in IPO, all supported by case studies. These are: design and evaluation methodologies with different users, spanning from infancy, human-centered artificial intelligence and augmented reality. The book aims to be a useful reference for researchers in IPO, by delving into how these areas will continue to transform our relationship with technology. Future Perspectives on Human-Computer Interaction Research: Towards the Year 2030 has been published by Springer.
