Use of a Hierarchical Skeleton for Spanish Sign Language 3D Representation over Mobile Devices

Resumen:
This document presents a special format for defining and storing sign language symbols. The format is oriented to its representation by virtual 3D human avatars over mobile devices. So the skeleton definition has been simplified and restructured to upgrade performance and storage requirements. This definition has been designed to perform Spanish Sign Language, but it can be easily adapted to any other sign language. This format is the base for a study of the impact that minimal modifications on the same symbol have on the understanding of the message.
